The exhibition curated in collaboration with the 22nd Biennale of Sydney and Artistic Director Brook Andrew, evolves over the four seasons, beginning with Spring 2019 and ending with Winter 2020. Each exhibition draws upon the virtues associated with the key developmental stages of life, from hope to purpose, love to wisdom.

Thubalethu features as part of ‘Summer’, which focuses on work set in landscapes that speak to the experience of Summer in Australia, as well as the connection of the body to the environment around it. 
Aesop Sydney is located at Pitt Street Mall and has a dedicated amphitheatre space designed by Snøhetta.
